Leviticus 19:13-15 – “‘Do not defraud or rob your neighbor. “‘Do not hold back
the wages of a hired worker overnight. “‘Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block
in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the Lord. “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

Timothy 5:18 – For Scripture says,
“Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.”
Exodus 23:8 – “Do not accept a
bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the
words of the innocent.
James 2:1 – My brothers and sisters,
believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show
favoritism.
Application:
- · Do not hold back the wages of a hired man.
- · Accepting brides blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.
- · God does not show favoritism—nor should believers.
