Shines Brightly

Proverbs 13:9-11 – The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out. Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Proverbs 4:18 – The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

Psalm 62:10 – Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.

Proverbs 10:4 – Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.

Application:

• ·         The godly have all the guidance and protection they need and are able to lead others to righteousness.
• ·         Those who trust in their own devices to get what they want rather than trusting in God to sustain them are warned.
• ·         Many proverbs praise diligence and the profit it brings, and they condemn laziness as a cause of hunger and poverty.
