Mankind

Deuteronomy 32:8 – When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

Genesis 11:8 – So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

Jeremiah 23:6 – In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.

Application:

• ·         The Lord is sovereign over all creation.
• ·         Even the greatest of human powers cannot defy God and long survive.
• ·         Although Zedekiah did not live up to the meaning of His name, “The Lord is my righteousness”, the Messiah would bestow on His people the abundant blessings that come from the hands of a King who does “what is just and right”.
