Proverbs
3:29-31 – Do not plot harm against
your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. Do not
accuse anyone for no reason—when they have done you no harm.
Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways.
Zechariah
8:16-17 – These are
the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render
true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot
evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,”
declares the Lord.
Job 2:3 – Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered
my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright,
a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him
without any reason.”
Proverbs 1:11-16 – If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless
soul; let’s swallow them alive, like the grave, and whole, like those who
go down to the pit; we will get all sorts of valuable things
and fill our houses with plunder; cast lots with us; we
will all share the loot”—my son, do not go along with them,
do not set foot on their
paths; for their feet rush into evil, they are swift to
shed blood.
