John
5:22-23 – Moreover,
the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son
just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor
the Father, who sent him.
Genesis 18:25 – Far be it from
you to do such a thing—to kill
the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and
the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of
all the earth do right?”
Judges 11:27 – I have not

2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all
appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what

Application:
- · Abraham based his plea on the justice and authority of God, confident that God would do what was right.
- · As the divine Judge, the Lord is the final court of appeal.
- · Although the body is wasting away, we are responsible for our actions while in it.
