Psalm

majesty; the Lord is robed; he
has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the

Psalm 97:2 – Clouds and
thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the
foundation of his throne.
Application:
- · The righteous were Israel as the committed people of God in distinction from those opposed to the coming of God’s kingdom.
- · The Lord reigns is the ultimate truth, and first article, in Israel’s creed.
- · He whose indisputable rule has made the world secure has given His people life directives that are stable and reliable—and that they must honor.
- · God rules by His power, but His reign is founded on righteousness and justice, which also the heavens proclaim.
