Application:
- · Believers may die physically but, as those who have eternal life, their physical death is not their ultimate end.
- · Death cannot destroy the life Christ gives.
- · Jesus not only is life, but He also conveys life to believers so that death will never triumph over them.
- · Many Jews were looking for a political leader to deliver them from Roman rule, while others were hoping for a savior to deliver them from sickness and physical hardship.
- · The sign pointed people to the Son of Man and the food for eternal life that He gives, but they thought only of the Prophet, i.e., the prophet who would be like Moses.
