The Eyes Of The Lord Keep Watch

Proverbs 22:10-12 – Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended. One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace will have the king for a friend. The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.

Psalm 121:3-4 – He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalm 1:6 – For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Proverbs 21:30 – There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.

Application:

• ·         “He who watches over Israel” is the Lord of all creation and the guardian over Israel—the One in whom the faithful may put unfaltering trust.
• ·         God protects those who have knowledge.
• ·         “No plan that can succeed against the Lord” because He is sovereign and controls people and nations.
