Romans 15:10-12 - And again it is said, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples extol him.” And again Isaiah says, “The root of Jesse will come, even he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him will the Gentiles hope.”

Application:
· The salvation of Gentiles and the glorifying of God by Gentiles was not a divine afterthought.
· Jesse was the father of David, and the Messiah was the Son of David.
· Root of David looks forward to the ideal king in the line of David.
· The Lord is concerned with man’s inner disposition and character.
