Chronicles 32:7-8 – “Be
strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of
Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than
with him. With him is
only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our
battles.” And the people gained confidence from what
Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and
courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because
of them, for the Lord your
God goes with you; he will never leave you nor
forsake you.”
Numbers 14:9 – Only do not rebel against
the Lord. And do not be afraid of
the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their
protection is gone, but the Lord is
with us. Do not be afraid of them.”

Application:
- · By trusting in the Lord and obeying Him, I can be victorious in spite of great obstacles. God is faithful in providing for my material needs.
- · If the Lord is with me, what can withstand me?
- · Without the Lord’s help my victories would be impossible. The Lord’s power, not my strength, achieves victory.
- · My strength is my reliance on the Lord.
