Sinning

Hebrews 10:26-27 – For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

Numbers 15:30 - But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 - This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Application:

· To reject Christ’s sacrifice for sins is to reject the only sacrifice; there is no other
· One who defiantly despises the word of God and blasphemes His name must be punished
· A person must come to understand key truths (the Gospel) in order to be converted
